Accomplishment over Inadequacy

I'm fed up with the same old things. The question is, do you want more than your current circumstances are providing? Changing your mindset is the first step to rising above mediocrity.

To begin, a strong desire for personal growth is required. It's important to know what you want, even if it's not clear how to get it. Be clear about what you want, and don't be ambiguous about it. What would you most like to see, do, and experience if you only had a limited amount of time left on this earth? Make a mental picture of what you desire or require.

When it comes to your desire, focus on the present rather than the past or future. Let the end take care of itself while you enjoy the present.

Relax and let go of any fears or skepticism you may have. Assume and believe that you already have what you want.

- Become enthused by your desire. Rather than merely picturing it, feel it. You'll get what you want faster if you're more enthused, excited, and charged up.

Every day, affirm to yourself what you desire. "A solemn and formal declaration" is what an "affirmation" is. Be confident that you will achieve your goals.

Remove all negative thoughts from your mind. Mediocrity is the byproduct of pessimism. Maintain a positive outlook on your goal at all times.

- Have faith in your abilities. Having a belief is a form of mental energy. Your thoughts have a significant impact on you and those around you, and they can either help or hurt you. Eliminate limiting beliefs that don't serve you by recognizing and letting go of them. It would help if you held on to those beliefs that bring you happiness and fulfillment.

Maintain a clear focus on what you want. It will become more natural to you if you visualize, believe in, and affirm your desire repeatedly. The more you think about what you want, the more likely your thoughts will eventually bring it to fruition.

- Make your intentions clear. You can think of an 'intention' as an 'anticipated outcome that guides your actions' To achieve a goal or desire, you must first put in the effort.
